Dr V R K Women’s Medical College, Teaching Hospital & Research Centre is one of its kind which offers MBBS Course exclusively for Girls. This College is approved by MCI, Permitted by MH & FW, Govt. Of India and Affiliated to Dr NTRUHS, Vijaywada, A.P. This College was established in 2010-11 with an annual intake of 100 students. This College is established by the Dr V R K Educational Society which has already established one Engineering College for Girls at Aziznagar, Moinabad Mandal, RR District, A.P in the year 2002 and another College of Engineering at Jagtial, Karimanagar District, A.P.

The Teaqching Hospital is now a 500 Bed Hospital with all the facilities provided as per the norms of MCI. This Hospital is functional since 2006 and is catering not only to the surrounding villages but also to the patients from distant places. Daily the OPD runs between 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and nearly 700-750 patients attend. The average bed occupancy of the Hospital is 400. All services are free of charges and quality of treatment is excellent.

The Hospital has additional separate beds for ICCU, ICU, Casualty, PICU and NICU besides Trauma Centre.

This Medical College and its Teaching Hospital is on the ORR Road and is at a distance of 15 kms from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad. It is covered under Limits of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and Hyderabad Urban Development Authority. The Staff Quarters and Students Hostels are ready for occupancy.
